I have always been a "shoe-a-holic"! Now that I have my shoe blog, I find myself looking at people's shoes and actually being able to figure out which brand they are wearing! Wherever we go I strike up a conversation with a perfect stranger - "How do you like your shoes?"
Below are excerpts from conversations that I have had with people wearing shoes at their workplace or at social events.
SHOES IN THE MEDICAL FIELD
In my experience, I have seen more Brooks and HOKA shoes being worn by medical staff than any other brand. Below are photos that I have personally taken to illustrate shoes in action!
- A nurse at my husband's hand orthopedic surgeon's office says that she "loves her HOKAs!" She walks a lot every day, going from one exam room to the next!
- A physical therapist has several pairs of HOKAs. He attends to his patients pain-free and in style!
- Another physical therapist loves her Brooks shoes. When I asked if I could take her photo she said "but they are dirty!" I said that is perfect; it shows that you love your Brooks and wear them all the time!

SHOES AT MY DENTIST'S OFFICE
Dentists and dental technicians do not walk very much throughout the day. Instead, they spend hours seated and bent over a patient's mouth.
